PhD in Psychological Development, Learning and Health

2025/2026

Introduction

The implementation of a Doctoral Program in Psychological Development, Learning and Health arose as a proposal from the area of knowledge of Developmental Psychology and Education of the USC and the UdC to the need to have a program for the training of doctors in Social and Behavioral Sciences in order to respond to a series of training needs, scientific and research studies in the Galician University System (SUG), in the field of human psychological development, learning and education, as well as the study of factors that may affect psychological adjustment and health throughout the life cycle of people. It is estimated that the offer of an Interuniversity Doctoral Program in Psychological Development, Learning and Health between both universities, coordinated by the USC, was fundamental for the development of research in this field in Galicia. Our PD proposal is unique in the field of the Galician University System (SUG) for the area of Developmental and Educational Psychology.
