Master´s Degree in Designs, Development and Marketing of Videogames

2025/2026 · 120 credits

Introduction

The Master's Degree in the Design, Development and Marketing of Video Games is presented as a training programme spanning two academic years. The curriculum is designed to chronologically adapt the sequence of teachings to the industrial process of creating a video game. The focus is on its nature as an interactive audiovisual consumer product with a strong technical component, from the initial conceptualisation and formulation of its viability to its final commercialisation, through the design and development phase.

This official degree covers all the necessary topics to turn students into well-rounded professionals capable of providing creative solutions in an increasingly dynamic industry in need of talent.

The Master's degree is taught at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF) on the Esteiro Campus. EPEF was established in 2021 through the merger of the city's two engineering schools, the Polytechnic University School and the Higher Polytechnic School, both of which have over 50 years' experience in engineering education.
