The University Master's Degree in Design, Development and Marketing of Video Games is a training programme lasting two academic years. In the design of its syllabus, the aim has been to adapt the teaching sequence chronologically to the industrial process of making a video game, focusing on its nature as an interactive audiovisual consumer product, with a strong technical component, from its initial feasibility and conceptualisation to its final commercialisation, through the design and development phase.
It is an official qualification that covers the necessary subjects to turn students into complete professionals capable of proposing creative solutions in an increasingly dynamic industry in need of talent.
The master's degree is offered at the Polytechnic School of Engineering in Ferrol (EPEF) on the Esteiro Campus. EPEF was established in 2021 as a result of the merger of the city's two engineering schools, the University Polytechnic School and the Higher Polytechnic School, with over 50 years of experience in engineering education.
