Los/as egresados/as de esta titulación podrán desarrollar su carrera como técnicos/as, responsables o expertos/as en gestión del agua en empresas de gestión, abastecimiento, tratamiento y valorización del agua, estaciones depuradoras, laboratorios de análisis del agua, organismos públicos y otras organizaciones con competencias en aguas, empresas de ingeniería y consultoría ambiental, empresas de seguros, departamentos de medioambiente de empresas de producción, centros de I+D+i en el área de recursos hídricos, instituciones educativas, etc.

El programa de máster se estructura en torno a tres cuatrimestres de 30 ECTS cada uno. Los dos primeros estarán dedicados a la impartición de asignaturas obligatorias (36c) y optativas (24c) y estarán a su vez estructurados alrededor de 5 módulos: Gobernanza del Agua (9c), Agua Urbana (9c), Ingeniería de Procesos (12c), Gestión de los Recursos Hídricos (21c) y Análisis de Datos (9c). El segundo curso de la titulación estará constituido por un único cuatrimestre, el módulo 6, dedicado a las Prácticas Externas (12c) y al Trabajo Fin de Máster (18c).

UDC holds student mobility agreements with universities and other third-level institutions across four continents. Students are offered several opportunities each year to apply to study abroad in one of these centres (for a single term or for a whole year), with the guarantee that all credits obtained will be duly recognised in their academic record upon their return.
For each round of applications, the University publishes the list of exchange options available to students and, where relevant, the specific conditions associated with each. Students may also apply to the University for funding for international work experience placements and internships.
Work experience placements are accredited in the student's academic record and the European diploma supplement. Students are free to decide in which host company or academic institution within the EHEA they wish to carry out their placement. To assist them in their search, the University has created an online noticeboard with jobs postings and other news.
Work-study placements in A Coruña are arranged by the International Relations Office (ORI) of the UDC in collaboration with the international relations coordinators in the student’s home university. The general entry criteria, rights and obligations of students, and admission and acceptance procedures for the programme, are regulated by the UDC Mobility Policy.
La titulación contempla la movilidad internacional como una base fundamental de las enseñanzas. La Comisión Académica Interuniversitaria del Máster (CAI) establecerá criterios de movilidad comunes para el alumnado de las tres universidades implicadas en el título. Se fomentará especialmente la movilidad durante el tercer cuatrimestre de la titulación y también se articulará un procedimiento para la movilidad durante el segundo cuatrimestre, para lo cual habrá que dedicar especial atención a los plazos de solicitud.
