PhD in Latin American Administrative Law

Students who meet some of the criteria listed in Article 4 of the UDC PhD Policies and Regulations will be able to access to UDC PhD programmes.

Candidates matching one of the general entry requirements for PhD students will be assessed in accordance with the specific criteria and merits for each programme. Information relating to application procedures and requirements are included in the programme structure for each course.

The decision to offer a student a place on a UDC PhD programme is the result of an application-specific evaluation process, and does not affect the academic or professional status of the candidate’s existing qualifications.

Specific access requirements of the CAPD

The application for admission will be made through the student's Virtual Secretary's Office. The supporting documentation will be delivered to the UADI of the Faculty of Law of A Coruña.

The CAPD will publish the provisional and final lists of admitted students on the doctoral programme website.

Complaints to the provisional list will be addressed to the UADI of the Faculty of Law.

The application for part-time enrolment, change of enrolment modality and temporary withdrawal from the programme must be submitted to the UADI of the Faculty of Law.

The allocation of places will be made according to the following distribution of places:

• - Each University will have a place reserved in the DAI. To be assigned, it must order the applications it has received in accordance with the criteria established above and submit a reasoned proposal to the CAPD.
• - The University of A Coruña, as the coordinating university, will have five places.
• - If any of the Universities does not make use of its reserved place, due to lack of candidates, the CAPD will assign the vacant places to the students with the best scores in accordance with the general admission criteria.

Deadlines

The application for admission (or registration renewal) and enrollment in PhD studies will be carried out according to the terms approved by the Governing Council of the UDC.
