Access

Students who meet some of the criteria listed in Article 4 of the UDC PhD Policies and Regulations will be able to access to UDC PhD programmes.

Applications

Candidates matching one of the general entry requirements for PhD students will be assessed in accordance with the specific criteria and merits for each programme. Information relating to application procedures and requirements are included in the programme structure for each course.

The decision to offer a student a place on a UDC PhD programme is the result of an application-specific evaluation process, and does not affect the academic or professional status of the candidate’s existing qualifications.

Recommended profile of admission

El perfil de ingreso establece los requisitos de formación previa de los estudiantes que serán admitidos al programa. En general, cualquier persona que se encuentre en alguna de las siguientes situaciones puede ser admitida al programa:

  • Rama del conocimiento: Ciencias sociales y jurídicas
  • Áreas de conocimiento: Derecho y especialidades jurídicas
  • Requisitos de acceso: estudios jurídicos de grado universitario, licenciatura en derecho o máster, preferiblemente en Derecho. 
  • Habilidades lingüísticas recomendadas# para llevar a cabo estos estudios; idiomas comúnmente utilizados en el campo científico, especialmente en el área en la que se realizará la investigación.
  • han obtenido el título de DEA en programas similares a este programa de doctorado.

Specific access requirements of the CAPD


Those interested in taking the DAI must also submit, together with their application for admission to the programme, two letters of endorsement from university professors of Law of recognised prestige. 

  • Knowledge of languages. The student must have language skills in Galician and/or Spanish.
In order to be assessed, merits must be documented and consistent with the lines of research of the programme. The same admission criteria will apply to all students, both full-time and part-time.

Deadlines

The application for admission (or registration renewal) and enrollment in PhD studies will be carried out according to the terms approved by the Governing Council of the UDC.
