The general objective of the Doctorate in Social Sciences and Ageing is to demonstrate and promote, among policy makers and stakeholders, the importance of promoting active and healthy ageing.

Why study

The Doctorate in Social Sciences and Ageing aims to train doctoral students in the field of demographic ageing and the challenges it poses from the perspective of social sciences. For this reason, this doctorate brings together various disciplinary areas with the purpose of seeking the complementarity that is necessary to study a multidimensional phenomenon such as demographic aging. It is a study program that aims to be a reference in the field of aging studies.
