This PhD program was promoted by the Campus of International Excellence "Campus do Mar" as the aspiration of the three Galician universities and those of northern Portugal (Aveiro, Minho, Tras os Montes e Alto Douro), the CSIC and the IEO, to create a postgraduate offer with a global vision and multi-year planning, of an international and cross-border nature. that manages to attract students of different nationalities who consider the aggregation of institutions created around the Campus do Mar as the preferred destination for training at the doctoral level.
