The Doctoral Programme in Advanced Biotechnology (DBA) is an official high-level degree, jointly organised by the University of Vigo (UVIGO) and the University of A Coruña (UDC), which has a specific collaboration agreement with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto‐Portugal (IPP) since 24/07/2015.
This doctoral program responds to the growing demand for highly qualified professionals in Biotechnology, preparing graduates to lead research projects in universities, R+D+i centers and companies in the biotechnology sector in Galicia, Spain and internationally.

The Doctorate in Advanced Biotechnology is a doctoral training program that responds to the needs of the biotechnology sector, both in Galicia and nationally and internationally. With a focus on applied research, innovation and collaboration with external entities, the program prepares its graduates to lead R+D+i projects and contribute to the scientific and economic development of biotechnology.
