Introduction

This master's degree is taught at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF) on the Esteiro Campus. The EPEF was born in 2021 as a result of the merger of the two engineering schools in the city, the Polytechnic University School and the Higher Polytechnic School, with more than 50 years of experience in training in the field of engineering. 

The Master's Degree in Textile Technology and Sustainable Fashion at the University of A Coruña is an official degree aimed at training professionals capable of facing the current challenges of the textile sector from a technological, innovative perspective and committed to sustainability. 

This program offers advanced and multidisciplinary training, ranging from textile manufacturing processes,  integrating the latest digital technologies, to the design and development of innovative products using the most recent sustainable strategies applied in the sector.

Graduates will have the ability to integrate into a constant industry transformation, to lead the future of the textile sector, combining technological innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship or even to promote their own business in the field of fashion and sustainable textiles.  

Aimed at both graduates in technical and creative areas, the master's degree combines theoretical and practical content, promoting collaboration with companies, research centres and professionals in the sector. Our goal is to train specialists with a comprehensive and up-to-date vision, capable of leading the transformation of the sector towards more responsible, circular and sustainable models.

  • The degree has face-to-face and distance modality. In the distance modality, a minimum mandatory face-to-face attendance is established in specific periods of the course. These face-to-face sessions may include workshops, laboratory practices and evaluation tests that, by their nature, cannot be carried out virtually. This measure is essential to guarantee the correct acquisition of practical skills by students.
