The two-year Master's Degree in Design, Development and Marketing of Video Games is an official programme offering comprehensive, practical training throughout the entire video game creation cycle. The curriculum is structured to mirror a real industrial process, covering everything from feasibility analysis and initial conceptualisation to design, technical development, and launch and commercialisation strategies in the global market. This approach enables students to understand video games as highly interactive audiovisual products that demand a convergence of creativity, technology, management and innovation.
The objective of the Master's degree is to train professionals who can provide creative and technical solutions in an industry that is constantly evolving and highly competitive. Throughout the programme, students will develop the key competencies that will enable them to join the sector or promote their own entrepreneurial projects with confidence.
Teaching takes place at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Ferrol (EPEF), which is located on the Esteiro Campus. Created in 2021 following the integration of the Polytechnic University School and the Higher Polytechnic School, the EPEF has more than five decades of experience in engineering training and is renowned for its commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and its strong ties to the professional and industrial sectors.
