Students who meet some of the criteria listed in Article 4 of the UDC PhD Policies and Regulations will be able to access to UDC PhD programmes.

Recommended profile of admission

The recommended entry profiles for this doctoral programme correspond to those of those who have any of the following qualifications:
- Any University Master's Degree that grants the full attributions of the regulated profession of Telecommunications Engineer
- Master's Degree in Information and Communication Technologies in Mobile Networks TICRM from the University of A Coruña; the University of Cantabria; the University of Oviedo; the University of Zaragoza and the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of A Coruña
- Master's Degree in Signal Processing Applications in Communications from the University of Vigo
- Master's Degree in Telematics Engineering from the University of Vigo
- Master's Degree in Radiocommunication and Electromagnetic Engineering from the University of Vigo
- Master's Degree in Signal Theory and Communications from the University of Vigo
- Master's Degree in Information Technologies from the University of Santiago de Compostela
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Vigo
- Master's Degree in Intelligent and Adaptive Software Systems from the University of Vigo
THE RECOMMENDED ENTRY PROFILE IS ALSO CONSIDERED TO BE THAT CORRESPONDING TO OTHER OFFICIAL MASTER'S DEGREES FROM SPANISH UNIVERSITIES OR EQUIVALENT MASTER'S DEGREES FROM UNIVERSITIES IN ANOTHER COUNTRY THAT IS PART OF THE EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION AREA, AND ON TOPICS RELATED TO INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN MOBILE NETWORKS.
In any case, those who wish to enter this Doctoral Programme must have a university education related to Information and Communication Technologies.

Specific access requirements of the CAPD

Merit assessment criteria
In view of the curriculum and the documentation submitted by the applicant, the Academic Committee will decide on their admission, based on the following assessment criteria:
- Academic record (40%)
- Adequacy of the previous training to the subject of the Doctoral Programme (30%)
- Research or professional experience in any of the work areas of the research lines of the Doctoral Programme (10%)
- Publications related to the subject of the doctoral programme (10%)
- OTHER ACADEMIC MERITS (STAYS ABROAD, LANGUAGES, ETC.) (10%). IN THE CASE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, ACCREDITATION OF KNOWLEDGE ABOVE LEVEL B1 WILL BE VALUED.
FOR PEOPLE WHO WISH TO CARRY OUT THE DOCTORAL THESIS UNDER CO-SUPERVISION WITH A FRENCH UNIVERSITY, ACCREDITATION OF A KNOWLEDGE OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE ABOVE LEVEL B1 WILL BE VALUED. IN THE CASE OF FOREIGN STUDENTS, WHOSE NATIVE LANGUAGE IS NOT SPANISH, IT WILL BE VALUED TO ACCREDIT KNOWLEDGE OF SPOKEN AND WRITTEN SPANISH COMPARABLE TO THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL OF THE DELE OF THE INSTITUTO CERVANTES.
- LIKEWISE, THE ACADEMIC COMMITTEE MAY REQUEST AN INTERVIEW WITH THE CANDIDATES TO CLARIFY AND ASSESS ANY OF THE MERITS ALLEGED.
