8 places offered in academic year 2024/2025

Recommended profile of admission

The master's degree that will allow admission to this doctoral programme without complementary training will be the Master's Degree in Statistical Techniques offered by the USC, UDC and UVigo. Students with research proficiency or with a DEA degree obtained through the previous PhD programs in Statistics and Operations Research at the three participating universities (USC, UDC and UVigo) will also have direct access to the program. Entry profile with a master's degree different from that of the previous section: In the case of students who have completed a master's degree other than the previous one, the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme (CAPD) will evaluate each case individually and consider the possibility of asking them to carry out complementary training (up to 15 ECTS) when in their previous training they have not completed at least 60 ECTS in the area of Statistics and Operations Research at master's level according to the judgment of the CAPD. Other profiles: In the case of students who have not completed a master's degree, an equivalence of training at master's level of at least 60 ECTS will be required, preferably in the area of Statistics and Operations Research. This equivalence will be determined by the CAPD. Students with foreign degrees: Students with a non-recognised foreign degree may apply for admission to doctoral studies provided that they can prove a level of training equivalent to that of the official Spanish university master's degree and entitles them to access doctoral studies in the country issuing the degree. This admission will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree or recognition for purposes other than those of access to these studies.
