The Master's Degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering is offered at the Polytechnic School of Engineering in Ferrol (EPEF) on the Esteiro Campus. EPEF was established in 2021 as a result of the merger of the city's two engineering schools, the University Polytechnic School and the Higher Polytechnic School, with over 50 years of experience in engineering education.
This degree provides the scientific and technological knowledge required to access positions of greater responsibility in the maritime industry, serving as a continuation of the official bachelor's degrees in Naval Architecture, Ship Propulsion and Services Engineering, and Naval and Oceanic Engineering.
It is an Official Master's Degree with a professional orientation, aligning with the competencies established in Order CIN/354/2009, thus enabling graduates to practice the regulated profession of Naval and Oceanic Engineer.
The master's program allows direct engagement with the research groups and programs conducted at EPEF, which extend into the doctoral level.
