Introduction

The Program is attached to the International Doctoral School (EDIUS) of the USC, the International Doctoral School (EIDO) of the UVigo and the International Doctoral School of the UDC (EIDUDC) and to the Universities: Universidade do Porto (UPorto), Universidade do Minho (UMinho), Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD).

Why study

The degree aims to give a broad and solid training in Mathematics, as it contains a wide range of research topics covering many relevant areas of mathematics, as well as its applications. It is intended that the PhD student acquires research, transfer and modelling skills in the areas mentioned above.
