Introduction

The Master of Marine Engineering, aims to provide the technical skills a Marine Engineer needs to develop their professional and research activities, including knowledge in management techniques, re-design, operation and maintenance of all the equipment of ships and marine artifacts.

The studies are part of a profile of expertise in the field of technical activity and provide an introductory knowledge to doctoral and research activities.

The learning outcomes of the study plan meet all training requirements of International Convention On Standards Of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for (STCW 78/95) to acquire competences in order to work professionally as Chief Engineer in the Merchant Navy, whenever the Degree in Marine Engineering has been previously completed.

Master gives access, along with Degree in Marine Engineering, the profession of Chief Engineer of Merchant Navy

Graduates from other technology fields can adquire specialized training of direct application in many sectors of industrial activity.

A TEACHING STAFF HIGHLY QUALIFIED, with majority professional experience in the field of Marine Engineering and other industries, ensures teaching in direct connection with the reality of the sector, which is reinforced with a program of training at selected industrial facilities and ships up to 4 months.
