Introduction

The University Master in Computer Vision is an international inter-university master's degree, lectured in English, organized by University of A Coruña, University of Santiago de Compostela, University of Vigo and University of Porto.The Master offers an all-round multidisciplinary specialization in the foundamentals and the most relevant application areas of computer vision.

Computer vision is an area of artificial intelligence that aims to automatically process, analyze and interpret existing content and information in images, videos and 3D data of the environment, using computational methods.

Why study

The growing availability of devices with digital image acquisition capabilities, along with recent technological advances, makes the use of computer vision in a multitude of innovative applications a reality today. Therefore, computer vision is a strategic area for many innovative technology companies, as well as a research field with growing scientific relevance. However, the specific multidisciplinary nature of computer vision, in addition to its inherent complexity, requires specialized professionals with the high educational level offered by this master's degree.

The training plan is aimed at both students and professionals seeking a specialization in machine vision aimed at the labor market or entrepreneurship, as well as those highly motivated by research, who need a master's degree in this field before starting a doctoral thesis.

This study is multilingual. The students will have the option to study part of the study in other languages​​.
