The economic and social importance of tourism in Galicia and the rest of Spain is very important, which is why the training of human resources becomes an unavoidable task for public universities
.Tourism is a sector that needs to be analysed from different perspectives such as sociology, geography, economics, medicine, computer science, etc. This sector, which is undoubtedly one of the most important in our society, was forgotten by scientists for years, being planned and managed by people without specific training.
The degree is the continuation of higher education for people who are studying the current degree in Tourism and for other people trained in degrees in social and human sciences in general who want to work or research in the tourism sector.
Since 2006 we have been teaching the Master's Degree in Planning and Management of Destinations and Tourism Products at the University of A Coruña. The studies we propose are of high academic, scientific and professional interest.
