Why study

This Master's Degree is the main offer of research training in Health Sciences in the area of A Coruña. In addition, it is the UDC master's degree in the health field with the highest enrollment. In each academic year, the success of enrolment of new students shows that this degree is a safe bet for Health Sciences students.
A key to the interest of the master's degree lies in the fact that it is developed in collaboration with the agents of health research in A Coruña, in particular, the basic and clinical research carried out by groups from the UDC, the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña (CHUAC) and the Institute of Biomedical Research of A Coruña (INIBIC).
Another key to the interest of the master's degree is the participation of teachers of Health Sciences (medicine, occupational therapy, nursing, physiotherapy and podiatry) and others related to biomedical experimentation (biology) and thematic fields that address legal, ethical, social and instrumental aspects of research in Health Sciences (mathematics, law, computer science, physical education, etc.).
A third key to the great interest of the master's degree is the differentiated and specialized offer in research and care training to different groups and realities in the health field.
Since its implementation (2007/08 academic year), the master's degree has welcomed students from a wide variety of degrees: Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, Social Work, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, etc., thus demonstrating the interest of this training offer for a multidisciplinary group strongly linked to biomedical research
A fourth reason is its academic offer organized into three Specialties aimed at different research training, thus adapting to the requirements of the research groups of the UDC, the CHUAC and the INIBIC.
