Candidates matching one of the general entry requirements for PhD students will be assessed in accordance with the specific criteria and merits for each programme. Information relating to application procedures and requirements are included in the programme structure for each course.
The decision to offer a student a place on a UDC PhD programme is the result of an application-specific evaluation process, and does not affect the academic or professional status of the candidate’s existing qualifications.

Recommended profile of admission
In general terms, Graduates in Labor Relations, Labor Sciences and Labor Relations and Human Resources who have completed a Master's degree that allows entry to this doctoral program without additional training. The access master's degrees will be those that are related to the different disciplines that form part of the content of the Labor Relations and Human Resources degree, especially Law, Work Psychology, Sociology and Business Administration. Admission will be subject to approval by the academic doctoral committee once the content of the master's degree in question has been analyzed.
Graduates in the branch(s) of knowledge of Social Sciences and/or those who have completed a master's degree related to any of the disciplines included within the scope of Labor Relations and Human Resources and that grant the student similar competencies in the opinion of the Academic Commission of the Doctoral Program.

Specific access requirements of the CAPD
The selection of students for admission to the program will be made based on the following criteria:
a) Average Academic Record Grade:
a. Grade Average: 20%
b. Master's Average: 15%
b) CV (certificate of origin, training activities, publications, etc.): 20%
c) Professional experience: 5%
d) Research experience: 5%
e) English level B1 or equivalent (10%)
f) Personal interview with members of the doctoral program committee: (25%).
Regardless of the previous criteria, the interview will fundamentally assess the applicant's motivation, expectations, ability to work as a team, organizational skills, and their orientation and commitment to research.

The application for admission (or registration renewal) and enrollment in PhD studies will be carried out according to the terms approved by the Governing Council of the UDC.
