Why study

This degree offers an updated, thorough and unique instruction in the context of the Galician University System. Thus, within the Galician-Portuguese linguistic sphere, this degree is the only one to pay similar attention to both languages, at a moment in history in which Portuguese-speaking countries such as Brazil are increasingly gaining in international influence. In order to meet these goals, this degree combines the necessary linguistic, literary and cultural knowledge with the use of Information Technology tools. Further, bilateral agreements with prestigious foreign universities (Évora, Minho, Lisbon, Porto, among others) have been signed so that students have the possibility to complete their academic training abroad and to familiarize themselves with other cultures and people in situ. Consequently, on completing their degree, students will be in an ideal position to bring their acquired knowledge and experiences to the labor market or to go on to graduate studies.
