This degree offers an updated and thorough instruction in the context of the Galician University System. It pays detailed attention to the linguistic and literary aspects of the English-speaking countries, at a moment in history in which this language has acquired international influence. In order to meet these goals, this degree combines the necessary linguistic, literary and cultural knowledge with the use of Information Technology tools. Further, bilateral agreements with prestigious foreign universities (Bangor, Cork, Galway, Worcester, among others) have been signed so that students have the possibility to complete their academic training abroad and to familiarize themselves with other cultures and people in situ. Consequently, on completing their degree, students will be in an ideal position to bring their acquired knowledge and experiences to the labor market or to go on to graduate studies.
