Introduction

The Master is interuniversity, it is taught at the Ferrol Polytechnic School of Engineering (EPEF) on the Esteiro Campus, at the University of La Laguna and at the University of Extremadura, and it offers the possibility of obtaining a double degree with the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal).

The credit distribution according to the type of subjects is the following:

  • 27 ECTS - 6 Compulsory subjects.
  • 21 ECTS - 7 Optional subjects.
  • 3 ECTS - Internships in companies.
  • 9 ECTS - Master's Final Project.

    Why study

    The main objective of this Interuniversity Master's Degree between the University of Coruña, the University of La Laguna and the University of Extremadura is to train researchers and professionals in the fields of industrial production environments and Information and Communication Technologies.

    The Master in Industrial Informatics covers the need for an interdisciplinary specialization in the common field of industrial production environments, and Information and Communication Technologies, both at the level of software and hardware tools: PLC's, robots, SCADA systems, field buses, simulation tools and other devices that are basic elements for the operation of current production systems.

    It is about responding to the demand of the industrial sector, which needs to incorporate professionals capable of combining knowledge of industrial processes, robotics and computer science skills applied to such processes.
