Introduction

The Master provides an academic training that allows a specialisation, after obtaining the degree of access of experimental or health sciences.

In the scientific field, the student who completes this Master will be prepared to work in research laboratories requiring cellular, molecular or genetic skills. The student will also be able to continue a researcher carrier and access to a Ph. degree training program.

In the professional field, the Master allows the training of specialists for advanced job positions in the distinct sectors of R&D: clinical or bio-industrial, and also in the higher education and in the public administration.

The Master also serves to the continuous training of professionals in active, from the distinct industrial sectors as well as education and public administration .

INTERNATIONAL DEGREE

From the 2014-15 course, students from the University of A Coruña and University of Palermo who attend the Master UDC (60 ECTS) or the University of Palermo (Master of Science (MSc) in Cellular and Molecular Biology. 120 ECTS), according to a specific curriculum, can obtain a double degree in two academic years. There are specific Erasmus scholarships for studies abroad in the framework of this agreement. For students coming from a 180 ECTS degree, the double master degree allows them to reach the 120 ECTS needed to access the doctorate.
