Introduction

The Master on Industrial Mathematics (M2i) is organized by the three Galician universities, jointly with Carlos III and Politécnica de Madrid universities.

It offers two specialities: Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Simulation. The title is achieved after passing 90 ECTS, 30 of them corresponding to the Master Project which is developed jointly with a company.

Why study

The training needs at master's degree level for professionals in Industrial Mathematics are highlighted by both the EU and the OECD in their document Global Science Forum. Report on Mathematics in Industry.

The scientific / technological interest of M2i rests on three pillars:

1. Expand the analytical capacity and knowledge of students who will make part of future research and professional teams.

2. Provide specific skills regarding the design, construction and management of specific software to at least one of the industrial sectors.

3. Introduce students to research and development in the lines of this program
