Why study

The degree offers up-to-date, rigorous and unique training within the framework of the Galician University System. Thus, focusing on the Galician-Portuguese linguistic domain, it is the only one that gives equivalent attention to the two languages, at a time when the Portuguese-speaking countries, especially Brazil, are acquiring great international relevance and projection. To achieve all these objectives, it combines the necessary linguistic, literary and cultural knowledge with the use of the tools derived from new technologies. It also offers the possibility of completing your training at prestigious foreign universities with which there are agreements (Évora, Minho, Lisbon, etc.) and thus getting to know other cultures and people in your own country. Thus, students, at the end of the degree, are in optimal conditions to apply the experiences and knowledge acquired to the world of work or to the continuation of higher education.
